The Mission
TO SEEK AND SAVE THE LOST
The mission of Ninth Avenue is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: To make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all things taught by Jesus.
Jesus answered and said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
(Luke 5:31-32)
Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
(Matthew 28: 19-20)

The Vision
TO WALK IN JESUS' FOOTSTEPS
The vision of Ninth Avenue is to create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ.
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
(1 Peter 2:21)
The most important [commandment],' answered Jesus, is this: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” The second is this: "Love your neighbor as yourself." There is no commandment greater than these.
(Mark 12:29-31)
